Take Note Japs
Hello Japanese, follow the example of the great Aussies who tried hard to save a lot of Sperm Whales stranded on their coasts. Stop the wanton destruction of the majestic whales in the name of ‘research.’ And pray what is this so-called research is all about. To study the effects of gastric juices on whale meat in the filthy bellies of those who consume them.
Bring Down Pollution and Live Longer.
AFP reports the results of a recent study made by Brigham Young University and Harvard School of Public Health on the effect of pollution on human health and longevity. It revealed that reduction of pollution results in ‘measurable health gains’. Cleaner air increased life expectancy by five months in 51 American cities. Longevity increased by five years between 1980 and 2000 in the cities. The study found that this was due to cleaner air.
So CEO’s auto companies and the politicians, who are in league with them, take note. You can live longer if the internal combustion engine is given its last rites.

Hurrah to BVD Co., China.
China is notorious for her carbon emissions. But the great country has done something to compensate for this sin. For it has developed an electric car that seemingly holds great promise. The automaker, BYD Co. Ltd has introduced a car named ‘e 6’. It was in show at the North American International Auto Show held in Detroit recently. It isn’t a small car like most electric cars for it can seat five persons comfortably. And its unique BYD Fe battery enables the car to travel 400km on a single charge.
China has no oil reserves to mention. So she can save hefty sums on oil imports if cars like the ‘e 6’ can take off successfully. On a happy note, it will help reduce the carbon emission to a considerable level.
But carbon spewing developed countries will not develop such cars in a hurry. The oil companies are in cahoots with the auto industry. They don’t want motor vehicles other than fossil fuel driven, gliding along the highways. They don’t care a hoot in saving the environment; they are interested only in the fat profits their evil industries bring them. The way they go on, they’d start shitting on their own dining tables and if the situation warrants it, their own dinner plates.
Hurrah to all those companies that develops the kind of autos that don’t vomit carbon gases. Let those who have that vision and the foresight to save our fragile environment.

The Movie On Deadly Ground
On Deadly Ground is an old Hollywood movie, but Environmental Extremist never gets tired of seeing it. The crowning glory of the film is the speech Segal delivers at the end. Gas companies are against the manufacture of vehicles running on alternate fuels. Development of such vehicles are nipped in the bud or carried on with a halfhearted effort. And one mustn’t forget the fact that gas companies are the prime cause although indirectly of carbon emissions. Also oil spills caused by giant tankers spell danger for our fragile environment. One European company even advertises itself as the pioneer of alternate energy. Satan in God’s garb?!
As mentioned before in this blog, the world economic recession is a blessing in disguise. Production of crude oil is at an all time low. One can hear Mother Earth heaving a sigh of relief. And the chances are that the present trend will continue for a long time to come, thanks to the greed and cupidity of the stinking rich. Their greed has brought down the very system that they helped to build. As their unholy profits dwindle, so does atmospheric pollution vomited out by automobiles and the likes. Isn’t this reason enough to celebrate?

On A Tangent
On A Tangent
Way back in the past, when Environmental Extremist used to be a student, he happened to read a book called The God That Failed. By God the author meant Communism. The book impressed him very much indeed. The alternate God that remained was and is Capitalism.
NOW WE FIND THAT THE NEW GOD ALSO FAILED AND FAILED MISERABLY AT THAT! Any more God’s left?

Effect of Economic Recession on Environment
One should not feel happy when folk are made to suffer for actions of not their making. Environmental Extremist apologizes to all and sundry for doing so.
The whole world is going thru an economical recession. Many are losing jobs, businesses fail, incomes are slashed, and standard of living is going down. How can one feel happy under the circumstances?
But to all nature lovers this is a blessing in disguise. The recession has reduced consumption of fossil fuels to a considerable extent. So less carbon is emitted into the atmosphere. This will result in a decrease of global warming.
THIS INDEED IS A THING TO BE JOYOUS ABOUT.
Some futurologists predict that the way mankind is going on now, the Earth will cease to be inhabitable and sooner than later, we will have to return to an agricultural economy.
In hindsight, Industrial Evolution was not a good thing after all.

A very commendable effort is being made in Japan on behalf of the dying corals of Sekisei Lagoon that lies between the Okinawan Islands of Iriomote and Ishigaki. Headed by Prof.Mineo Akamoto of the Tokyo University of Marine Sciences and Technology in association with the Ministry of Environment, the project aims at doing something that none had attempted before. Thousands of small baby corals are being grown in order to replenish the corals that have been depleted by the warming of the river waters and the resultant increasing incidence of starfish. Again the consequence of human greed aided and abetted by shortsighted politicians of the developed world and developing worlds.
WHILE JAPAN IS ENGAGED IN THIS COMMENDABLE DEED, THE FINE COUNTRY IS ALSO ENGAGED IN A FOUL, DEPLORABLE DEED. The same ministry that wants to repair their immediate environment is closing its eyes to a major crime committed with the connivance of the unfeeling and cruel Japanese authorities. AFP reports that Japanese whalers have started moving towards the Antarctic for BUTCHERING WHALES. The commendable, ever vigilant GREENPEACE activists have noticed the whaling vessel ‘Nisshin Maru’ sailing towards their customary whaling grounds. The voyage is said to last five months, during which a hell of a lot of whales will be cruelly harpooned.
While all other countries have put an end to the heinous practice, Japan alone persists in the wanton killing of the fine creatures. They do it in the name of research, when everyone knows that so-called cultured Japanese want to stuff their bellies with whale meat. Why can’t they do research on lessening carbon emissions spewed out from the millions of motor vehicles that they dump around our sacred Mother Earth.
Pirates are roaming the Somalian waters to highjack ships. WHAT IS NOW NEEDED IS COURGEOUS GROUPS OF FOLK WHO CAN DO THE SAME THING TO THESE DESPICABLE SHIPS.
When groups of animal lovers tried to prevent such ships in their infernal activities, the Japanese termed it ‘Environmental Terrorism.’ Terrorism is deplorable any time, but the kind of terrorism that the Japanese talks about in this respect is EMINENTLY JUSTIFIABLE.
Environmental Extremist knows that organizations like the Greenpeace will make all out efforts to obstruct the Japanese in their deplorable mission.
THIS BLOG APPLAUDS AND APPRECIATES THEIR LOVE OF NATURE, TENACITY, SACRIFICE, FIGHTING AGAINST ODDS IN A VAIN ATTEMPT… THEIR WELL-MEANT ACTIVITIES DO MAKE THEM SUPERIOR HUMAN BEINGS AGAINST THE INFERIOR, CRUEL, MINDLESS, GLUTTONOUS JAPANESE, MAY THEY ROT IN HELL.
